Bigshot launcher to 200'

Did you try a fishing rod for the line? It would seem to give you all you need for that element.

Nice job!

A fishing rod would be nice but I found that using a long stick with an eye at the end worked perfect and was one less thing to carry, in a conservation area where you do not want cut off a limb or small branch the mono pod worked well and is something I carry often anyway for photos or walking.
This was all about getting the max with the min and using what I already use, the Bigshot. Now for stuff up to 70 I hand toss, 60-110 feet Bigshot with similar weight and line as the hand toss, 100-200' it is this setup. Don't think I will need more than that, I'll see how I do in 2 weeks with the 300' redwood. My cost is very low and losing throw wights in the jungle not an issue. I have 120.00 worth of those Throwpods laying out there somewhere.
Most of the added cost is 25 bucks for the trigger, a few bucks for the truck tie down, 40 buck for the reel, 1500 feet of 100 pound fishing line is about 15 bucks, 60 cents for each weight.
As you might expect holding that Bigshot like a shotgun gives me incredible accuracy.

One thing I don't look forward to is having one of those bands break and slapping me in the hand so there will be some cost in replacing those with some signs of fatigue.

Thanks
