The overall champion or runner-up\, should the winner not be able to attend\, will represent the NJ Arborists at The International Tree Climbing Competition. All arborists with NJAISA membership in good standing who permanently live in NJ are eligible to qualify for the Master’s Challenge and representation at ITCC.  We welcome competitors from other states\, however\, New Jersey member competitors have precedence for filling our 25 slots.  Any open positions will be granted to out-of-state competitors who hold NJ chapter membership on a first-come first-serve basis \nPLEASE NOTE:   The Ascent Event will again replace the footlock in the 2019 competition. \nThis is the official form. You must pre-register by the deadline of May 29\, 2019. There will be no registration on-site at the event. The participants must complete the Waiver and Release Forms\, the Competitor Registration Form and pay the $70 registration – PAY ON-LINE AT NJAISA.com \nYou will not be allowed to compete without them. Email your registration form\, and completed waivers to the Chapter’s email at njarboristsisa@gmail.com or fax to 848 – 373 -9588 Rules are available online at the ISA website\, www.isa-arbor.com. \nA MANDATORY gear check on Friday\, May 31st for all competitors at the site of the competition\, immediately followed by the event walk thru. It is important that each competitor arrives at the Friday gear check with a fully completed gear check form. Please pay close attention that the climbing line diameter you are using meets the requirements of mechanical device you may choose to use. Gear check will be between 3:00-5:00 pm with the walk thru starting at 5:00 pm on-site meeting and equipment inspection.
